Toss Trinbago Knight Riders chose to bowl v Guyana Amazon Warriors

Trinbago Knight Riders won the toss and chose to bowl against Guyana Amazon Warriors at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, after rain delayed the start of CPL 2020 opener by 90 minutes, making it a 17-overs a side affair.

With the toss delayed and some cloud cover still there, captain Kieron Pollard did as expected on winning the toss.

The Knight Riders had Colin Munro, Sikandar Raza, Tim Seifert and Fawad Ahmed among their overseas contingent, alongwith the heavyweight experience of Pollard himself, Dwayne Bravo, Sunil Narine and Lendl Simmons.

The Amazon Warriors – led by Chris Green – also had plenty of experience in the form of Ross Taylor and Imran Tahir, while allying that with the exciting young talents of Nicholas Pooran, Shimraon Hetmyer, Brandon King and Sherfane Rutherfod.
